Logan Christopher Rogers, 32, of Henderson, Kentucky, formerly of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born on Thursday, October 29, 1992, in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Christopher Wayne and Kristin Jayne (Berge) Rogers. Logan was a 2011 graduate of Carmi White County High School, where he lettered and had numerous accomplishments in both football and baseball. He married Shauna Lynn Whitley on June 18, 2015, in Evansville, Indiana, and together they have shared over 10 years of marriage.
Logan was a hard-working young man and was driven to succeed in life and in business. He and his wife were the proud owners of L&B Tree Service, which served the tri-state area. Logan was a loving husband, father, son and brother, who cherished the time he spent with his family. When he wasn’t at work at his business, he liked to work with his family, tending to his goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits. Logan was truly a character, always busy, but never too busy to have fun with his family and friends. His three daughters were his pride and joy.
Along with his wife, Shauna Rogers of Henderson, KY, he is survived by his three daughters, McKenna Leigh, Zayla Mae and Lynnleigh Rae; parents, Chris and Kristin Rogers of Centerville, IL; sisters, Morganne (Tanner) Roser of Carmi, IL. and Kelsey (Dylan) Rankin of Carmi, IL; paternal grandparents, Dennis Wayne and Barbara Jean Rogers of Carmi, IL; father-in-law, Rob Whitley of Crossville, IL; mother-in-law, Kim (Tim) Jennings of Henderson, KY; brother-in-law, Justin Catlin of Phillipstown, IL; grandparents-in-law, Buddy and Dianna Schwindel; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Rhett, Ella, Joleigh, Averie and Ryker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Welborn and Brenda Sue Berge.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the chapel at Roberts and Cook Funeral Service, 101 Edgewood Lane, Carmi, Illinois, burial will follow immediately at Phillipstown Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Logan’s memory may be made to Shauna Rogers to facilitate a college fund for their three daughters and will be accepted at Roberts and Cook Funeral Service who has been entrusted with the arrangements.
