The Wayne County Board will meet Thursday, July 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom of the Wayne County Courthouse.
The agenda includes a full slate of reports and action items. Among the key matters for discussion is approval of the 2026 Animal Control and Humane Society contract under Old Business.
Under the Highway Department’s report, the board will review a resolution to appropriate funds for a project which involves improvements to the north approach of County Highways 1 and 2. Additionally, a Local Public Agency Engineering Services Agreement will be considered on County Highway 13.
New Business will include action on Wayne County Trustee Resolutions related to the sale of three parcels of property with potential equity. The proposed buyer is Lakeside IL MHP 11 LLC.
Routine reports from county offices and committees such as the State’s Attorney, Sheriff, County Clerk, Treasurer, Health Department, and Supervisor of Assessments will also be presented.
Committee updates will be heard from the Claims/Finance, Sheriff, EMA, Road & Bridge, Economic Development, and several other committees.
