The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) released its first quarter report on nursing home violations for this year, revealing that several facilities in our area are listed among those cited for violations.
Facilities in Carmi, Salem, Nashville, Energy, Carbondale, Jonesboro, Metropolis, Pinckneyville, West Frankfort, and Mt. Vernon are mentioned in the report. A total of 243 violation reports were filed during the first quarter of this year.
The report highlights the ongoing need for oversight and improvements within nursing home facilities across the region.
