The Edwards County 4-H Sheep Show was held Monday, July 28th.
In the Hampshire Division Gabe Wyatt showed the Champion Ram and Ewe. In the Corriedale Division, Emmitt Spray had the Champion Ewe and Reserve Champion Ewe was shown by Jesse Spray. In the Cheviot Division J.W. Simms-Reisner showed the Champion and Reserve Champion in the Ewe classes. J.W. Simms-Reisner showed the Champion Montadale Ram and the Champion and Reserve Champion Montadale Ewes. In the Suffolk class Brooklyn Kitchene showed the Champion Ram and the Champion and Reserve Champion Ewes. J.W. Simms-Reisner had the Champion Ewe, and Gabe Wyatt showed the Reserve Champion Ewe in the Other Breeds class. Aly Williams had both the Champion and Reserve Champion Crossbred Ewes. Brooklyn Kitchene showed the Champion in the Non-Registered Ewe class. Gabe Wyatt had the Reserve Champion Non-Registered Ewe.
The Grand Champion Ram was awarded to Gabe Wyatt, and he received a plaque donated by Edwards County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. The Reserve Grand Champion Ram was shown by J.W. Simms-Reisner.
The Grand Champion Ewe was shown by J.W. Simms-Reisner. Aly Williams showed the Reserve Grand Champion Ewe. J.W. received the plaque donated by Three Rivers Veterinary Clinic.
In the Market Class, Alyson Williams showed the Grand Champion Market Lamb. Farm Credit Services Illinois donated the trophy. Alyson Williams also showed the Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb.
In the Showmanship Classes, the Senior division winner was J.W. Simms-Reisner who received a belt buckle donated by Edwards County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. Jesse Spray won the Junior Showmanship belt buckle donated by Farm Credit Illinois. The Wes and Kelly Fryman Novice Showmanship belt buckle went to Emmitt Spray.

In the Dairy Goat division, Adalynn Potter showed the Grand and Reserve Champion Dairy Females. She received a plaque donated by the Edwards County Ag in the Classroom. In the Meat Goat division, Gabe Wyatt showed the Grand Champion Meat Female and the Reserve Grand Champion Meat Female. Gabe received the trophy donated by JTK Services Inc. The Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Ellie Troyer who received a plaque donated by Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat was shown by Campbell Biggs.
In the Showmanship division, the Senior Showmanship Belt Buckle donated by Terry Mewes and Ashley Craig was awarded to Chloe Iles. Bristol Duncan won the Junior Showmanship Belt Buckle donated by Proving Grounds Taxidermy. In the Novice Class, Ellie Troyer won the belt buckle donated by the City of Albion
