Eldon Glen Musgrave, 76, of Sims, IL, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home.
The seventh of eleven children, Eldon was born to Glen and Mildred (Williams) Musgrave on August 29, 1948, at home in Wayne County.
Eldon had been a logger, timber buyer, and a tree trimmer his entire life.
Eldon is survived by his children Rebecca Mason, Glenna Wood, Mildred Wright, Bessie Millenbine, Shay Musgrave, Kim Musgrave, Gayla Compton, and Heather Musgrave, his siblings Marilyn Legg, Carolyn Musgrave, Leah (Ron) Bozarth, Sam (Amanda) Musgrave, George (Kim) Musgrave, Wilford (Mary) Musgrave, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Eldon is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob Musgrave, Earl Musgrave, and Jacob Musgrave, a sister Lavon Musgrave, an infant daughter Darlene, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 7th, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the service with burial to be held at a later date in Victory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
