Get Your Student the Right Backpack

By Tony Collins Aug 4, 2025 | 5:52 AM

It’s back-to-school time, and the National Safety Council has a few things to keep in mind when picking a backpack for your child. Make sure the backpack is the correct size for your child. Look for one with padded back and shoulder straps, as well as hip and chest belts to help transfer some of the weight. Multiple compartments will help better distribute the weight, and compression straps on the sides or bottom will stabilize the contents.
