Gas Prices Slip Lower

The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.12 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.42 a gallon, three cents below Friday’s average. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.23 a gallon, down four cents from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average at $2.67, three cents lower than Friday. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.46 a gallon, down two cents.
