Edwards County Sheriff, Darby Boewe, Will Not Seek Re-Election Following Current Term

Longtime Edwards County Sheriff, Darby Boewe, announced he will not seek re-election in the next election. Boewe says that he will serve out the remainder of his term of office that ends on November 30, 2026. Boewe was originally elected as Edwards County Sheriff in 2008. Boewe states that “Serving as Edwards County Sheriff since 2008 has been my distinct honor and privilege and I am deeply grateful to the people of Edwards County for the trust and support they have shown me for the past 17 years. To the men and women of the Edwards County Sheriff’s Office, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished through the years and of your professionalism and dedication in serving and protecting the people of Edwards County.”
