2025 CISNE REUNION CELEBRATES CLASS MILESTONES AND FULL WEEKEND OF EVENTS

The 2025 Cisne Reunion kicked off last night. During the reunion, two special classes: the Cisne High School Class of 1975 celebrating their 50th reunion and the Class of 2000 marking their 25th will be honored.

This evening’s events will include Bingo from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a series of pageants featuring local youth. Pageants include Tiny Tot, Little Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss Cisne Reunion.
– The Little Miss pageant will feature 10 contestants; the current titleholder is Tessa Rodgers.
– Seven young ladies are competing for Junior Miss, with Lillian Rae McCarthy serving as the reigning Junior Miss.
– Five contestants will vie for the title of Miss Cisne Reunion. The retiring queen is Emalie Matthews.

Friday Events:
Bingo returns from 7 to 9 p.m., and the evening will be capped off with a performance by The Brat Pack at 7 p.m. in the park.

Saturday Schedule:
Saturday begins early with race day registration and a community breakfast at the Community Center.
– Race registration opens at 6 a.m. on stage in the square.
– Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. by donation, with proceeds supporting building repairs and upgrades.
– The 1-Mile Fun Run kicks off at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m.
– Car Show registration also begins at 8 a.m., with awards at 11 a.m.
– The Tractor Show begins at 10:30 a.m.
– Kids’ Games and an FFA Petting Zoo will run from 10 a.m. to noon on the square.
– A Pedal Pull will take place at noon on the southwest corner of the square.

Parade festivities begin with lineup at 2 p.m. at the high school, and the annual parade steps off at 2:30 p.m.

The Second Annual Tractor Drive, in memory of Brent “Opey” Opell, will begin at 8:30 a.m. from in front of Cisne High School and return to Cisne Middle School by 10:30 a.m. Trailer parking is available in the east high school lot.

The weekend wraps up with Saturday night Bingo from 5 to 9 p.m., followed by a live performance from Danny Shelton and the Bird Dogs on the main stage.
