Fairfield police officers made three separate arrests over a two-day period last week, taking individuals with outstanding warrants into custody.
On Wednesday, August 7th at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers patrolling the 300 block of SW 4th Street located and arrested Anthony C. Vasoli, 21, of Newburgh, Ind. Vasoli was wanted on a Wayne County warrant for burglary and criminal damage to government-supported property. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he remains pending a court appearance.
On Thursday, August 8th at about 7:20 p.m., officers patrolling the 200 block of 1st Street arrested Amanda G. Garner, 45, of Fairfield. Garner also had an outstanding Wayne County warrant for burglary and criminal damage to government-supported property. She was transported to the Wayne County Jail and is being held pending a judge’s appearance.
Earlier that same day, at approximately 11:09 a.m., officers patrolling West Delaware Street conducted a traffic stop on Justin E. Dejaynes, 40, of Sims. Dejaynes was known to have an outstanding warrant and was driving without a valid license. He was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. Dejaynes was additionally cited for improper use of registration and no valid vehicle registration.
