The Wayne County Highway Department will conduct oiling and chipping on multiple county roads today (Monday, August 18th) and tomorrow (Tuesday, August 19th).
Work will take place on the following routes (if haven’t been completed already):
CH 6 – Burnt Prairie Blacktop
CH 23 – Smerdon
CH 19 – Ditchbank Road
CH 25 – Blue Mound Road
CH 29 – Rinard
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Those traveling through work zones should be prepared to stop or wait until the roadway is safe to pass.
