HIGH SCHOOL GOLF FROM TUESDAY:
On Tuesday, the FCHS Golf Team traveled to Mt. Carmel for a 3-way match with Mt. Carmel and Newton. In Boys action, Fairfield finished 3rd with a team score of 176. The Mules were led by River Wise who shot a 40.
On the Girls side, Fairfield finished 2nd with a team score of 204. The Lady Mules were led by Amelia Hopfinger who shot a 48.

Michael McGreevy earned his seventh win after striking out six in seven scoreless innings, while Thomas Saggese hit his second home run. St. Louis has won two of its last three games. He is the 29th captain in franchise history.

(Burbank, CA) — Paige Bueckers [[ beckers ]] is this year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year. League commissioner Cathy Engelbert surprised Bueckers with the news ahead of her appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Tuesday. Bueckers was selected with the first overall draft pick by the Dallas Wings. She averaged 19-point-two points, five-point-four assists and three-point-nine rebounds in her rookie season. Bueckers received 70 of 72 possible votes to win the award.
