A Fairfield man has been sentenced to prison following a methamphetamine conviction.
41-year-old Edward A. Riley was sentenced Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court by Judge Denton Aud to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Riley pled guilty to possession of less than five grams of meth on April 15th. The charge stemmed from an offense committed in March of this year.
In addition to his sentence, Riley was given credit for 117 days already served in the Wayne County Jail.
