THREE ILLINOIS CO-OP EMPLOYEES EARN NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CERTIFICATION

Three members of the Illinois electric cooperative community have earned the Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC) designation through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

Honorees include Colten Bradford, editor of Illinois Country Living magazine; Megan Marlowe, manager of communications at Corn Belt Energy; and Alyssa Parrott, communications specialist at Wayne-White Electric Cooperative.

They were among 36 individuals nationwide in the 2025 CCC class, completing more than 110 hours of coursework in areas such as strategic planning, crisis communication, and media relations. The program is designed to strengthen cooperative communication efforts and enhance service to members.
