Members of the Edwards County FFA Chapter attended the Section 23 Leadership Training School on Wednesday an event designed to help students strengthen leadership skills through officer-led workshops.
Representing Edwards County were Parker Biggs, Chase Shelton, Henry Thompson, and Keyleigh Wood. Following the opening ceremony, a meal was provided by Los Tres Caminos. Illinois FFA State Treasurer Kaydance Wooton served as the keynote speaker.
That same evening, several Edwards County FFA members took part in the Greenhand Quiz Bowl, a competition for first-year members testing their knowledge of FFA. Team members included Kayden Alexander, Grant Doelling, Bristol Duncan, Eli Garrett, Alexis Rivera, Erik Wallace, and Sydney Williams. Edwards County finished fifth overall in the event.
