FALL FOCUS: GARDENING AND GROUNDSKEEPING WORKSHOP SET FOR OCTOBER 18TH

Gardeners and homeowners looking to make the most of fall yardwork can gain expert advice at the upcoming Fall Focus: Gardening and Groundskeeping workshop on Saturday, October 18th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at COUNTRY Financial Hall, 90 W. Pine St., Albion.

Local Master Gardener Debbie Fearn, Joy Hocking of Hocking’s Green Thumb Nursery, and Doug Krajec of Krajec Landscaping will lead the program. Topics will include landscape management, preparing flower beds for spring during the fall season, cleaning and storing garden tools for winter, and more. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions or topic suggestions when registering.

The workshop is open to adults and high school students. Registration is available online at go.illinois.edu/FallFocus or by contacting the Edwards County Extension office at 618-445-2934.
