Hamilton Memorial Hospital District will host a free educational event, “The ABC’s of Medicare,” on Tuesday, October 21st at 11 a.m. in the HMHD Cafeteria. The program will feature guest speaker Keith Leitzen, who will provide clear and timely guidance on Medicare coverage options.
With major changes coming to Medicare in 2026, organizers say the session is designed to help both new and current beneficiaries better understand their choices during the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period.
Topics will include annual enrollment options, the Medicare “alphabet” (Parts A, B, C, and D), the basics of Medicare Advantage and Medigap coverage, and resources to help individuals navigate the system confidently.
The program is strictly educational and will not promote or endorse any specific Medicare plans. Lunch will be provided free of charge.
