Wayne City High School has announced Avery Barnard as the October Senior of the Month. Avery is the daughter of Kirk and Kendra Barnard.
Avery is actively involved in a variety of clubs and organizations, including Band, FFA, History Club, Beta Club, and Enrichment/Apologetics. She also participates in the Wayne City High School Turning Point USA Chapter, Art Club, and Class Transfer.
Her leadership extends beyond the classroom. Avery is a member of Illinois State FFA, Wayne City 4-H Club, and is involved with Tumble & Cheer at The Tumble Barn, as well as Church of the Harvest. She also serves as a coach at The Tumble Barn.
Looking toward the future, Avery plans to attend Rend Lake College and earn her Associate’s Degree in Visual Communication/Design.
