The Wayne County Board will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom of the Wayne County Courthouse.
The agenda includes approval of September’s minutes, public comment, and a number of office reports.
Among the items under new business, 911 Board Chairman Scott Clark is requesting the appointment of Nate Burgess to fill a vacancy on the Wayne County 911 Authority Board, where he will represent Emergency Services.
Dave Shipley of Midwest Telephone is scheduled to return to discuss courthouse networks and phone systems.
Committee reports will also be presented, including Claims and Finance, Sheriff, EMA, Animal Control/Welfare, Road and Bridge, Insurance/Education, Building and Grounds/Safety, Economic Development, Rules and Policy, and the Liquor Commission.
The meeting is open to the public.
