WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT HANDS DOWN SENTENCES IN MULTIPLE CASES TUESDAY

Wayne County Circuit Court saw several defendants enter guilty pleas and receive sentences on Tuesday.

Mason Thomas, 22, of Cisne, pled guilty to domestic battery. He was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay court costs. Thomas was given credit for four days already served in the Wayne County Jail.

In another case, Justin Angle, 42, of Olney, pled guilty to criminal trespass to real property. He received a sentence of one year of conditional discharge and must also pay court costs.

Randall Rockett, 50, of Geff, pled guilty to reckless driving. Rockett was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay court costs. He received credit for one day served in the Wayne County Jail and was ordered to complete 100 hours of public service work.
