Grady Simpson is this year’s Fairfield Community High School Homecoming King, and the Queen is Kenzie Turner. It is believed to be the FIRST time in school history that the older sister crowned her younger sister. The 2024 Homecoming Queen was Ciara Turner. Both Grady and Kenzie were crowned Friday during Fairfield Community High School’s Homecoming activities. The Homecoming Court included freshman attendants Bentli Belva and Sylvia Ward; sophomore attendants Reagan Jackson and Kamdyn Miller; and junior attendants Macie Edwards and Selah Sork. The other King candidates were Jude Carter and Jake Easton. The other Queen candidates were Libbee Cline and Jayden Easton. Escorts for the court will be Danny Downen, Brock Johnson, Caleb King, Will Lewis, Nicholas Munoz, and Lane Robson.
Homecoming Activities wrap up tonight with the Homecoming Dance starting at 7 p.m. in the FCHS gym. Students are reminded to check in before the dance begins, and student IDs and tickets will be required for entry.
The Homecoming Parade was held Friday afternoon in downtown Fairfield. The Senior Class won first place, and the Junior Class was 2nd. The Fairfield Mules defeated Chrstopher-Ziegler-Royalton in the Homecoming Game Friday night by a final score of 56 to 12.
