




Fairfield Community High School Homecoming festivities came to an end Saturday with the homecoming dance. The FCHS 60th annual Alumni Banquet was held Saturday night at the Fairfield Elk’s Lodge with a large crowd in attendance that featured speakers; Steve Griswold from the Class of 1975 and Tyra Holt Cycholl from the Class of 1993.
The FCHS Homecoming Parade was held Friday afternoon and the Fairfield Mules football team won in big fashion beating Christopher-Zeigler Royalton 56 to 12 in the Friday night homecoming game. The crowning of the Homecoming King & Queen was held during halftime with Grady Simpson and Kenzie Turner being crowned the 2025 King & Queen.
Friday night during the coronation ceremony, the 2024 Homecoming Queen Ciara Turner, crowned her little sister, Kenzie Turner as the 2025 Queen. It is believed to be the FIRST time in school history that an older sister crowned the younger sister the following year.
