One person is dead and another injured following a head-on collision in Effingham County.
Authorities report that the crash occurred Sunday morning on the Dieterich blacktop, just south of Dieterich. Jacqueline Adams was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional details have been released at this time.
