(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias [[ ah-LEX-ee jih-NEW-lee-us ]] is warning federal ICE agents about swapping or altering license plates. Giannoulias says swapping out license plates or tampering with them to avoid detection is illegal. The warning comes in response to a video that surfaced online that appears to show an ICE agent telling the bystander filming that they change their plates out every day. Giannoulias has created a Plate Watch Hotline to allow people to report instances of license plate tampering.

(Chicago, IL) — A federal judge is extending her restraining order banning President Trump from deploying National Guard troops to Illinois. Judge April Perry ruled that the ban will remain in effect until a final judgment is reached, possibly by the U.S. Supreme Court. A temporary restraining order issued by Perry earlier this month was set to expire today. The order stems from a lawsuit filed by Illinois and the city of Chicago against the Trump administration.

Big Time Rush gained popularity in November 2009 when a scripted TV show of the same name debuted on Nickelodeon. The show focused on the Hollywood adventures of four hockey players from Minnesota after they were selected to form a boy band.
