The Village of West Salem Board of Trustees will convene for its regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 27th, at 6:30 p.m. Key items on the agenda include approval of minutes from prior meetings, financial and legal reports, and consideration of several committee recommendations.

During the meeting, trustees will review and approve purchases over $300 in multiple departments, including public safety, parks, property, streets, and water and sewers. Specific items for approval include a computer tower for the Fire Department and new tires for a police squad car.

Under old business, the board will discuss and potentially approve municipal insurance proposals. New business will feature discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2025-S, supporting the West Salem Development Association’s Trees on the Square project, as well as determination of the village’s levy request for 2026.

Public comments will be welcomed, and reports from the village president, treasurer, clerk, and attorney are also scheduled.

The next regular Village Board meeting is set for November 24th at 6:30 p.m.
