The City of Fairfield Water Distribution Department has issued a boil order for the following areas. The order was prompted after a leak was discovered and repaired Monday afternoon.
All of Shoreway Drive
All of W. Lakeview Drive
South side of York Drive
Residents in these areas are advised that water used for human consumption should be boiled until water samples have passed state testing and the city announces that the order has been lifted.
