The West Frankfort School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday night to consider approval of the new collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of Teachers Local 817.
The upcoming vote follows Friday’s announcement that the teachers’ union has ratified the tentative contract agreement reached with the school district. The board is now set to take final action on the deal.
Thursday’s meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Central Junior High School in West Frankfort.
