The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department reported two arrests Tuesday.
Christopher L. Bartley, 52, of Mill Shoals, was taken into custody on a Wayne County warrant for possession of methamphetamine and violation of a stayed sentence. Bartley was also sentenced Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court to 180 days in the Wayne County Jail for the violation.
Later that evening, deputies arrested Jaydon B. Stallings, 18, of Rinard, following an investigation that determined he was out of compliance with the sex offender registry. A warrant had been issued for failure to register as a sex offender, and Stallings was lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
