Two Wayne County residents appeared in White County Circuit Court Wednesday on separate cases.
34-year-old Ashley Bebout was sentenced to prison following a plea deal in which she pled guilty to Receipt, Possession, and Selling of a Stolen Vehicle. Charges of Unlawful Possession of a Credit/Debit Card, Criminal Damage to Property, and Theft were dismissed under the plea agreement.
Bebout will serve up to seven years in prison, with her sentence running concurrently with convictions in Wayne County. She was also ordered to pay restitution to two victims in the case and has agreed to testify in an upcoming court case. Her prison term will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release.
Fairfield resident, Jennifer Mayberry was sentenced to a year of court supervision for a retail theft charge stemming from an incident on June 21st.
