TEASDALE FOODS RECALLS TACO DINNER KITS DUE TO ALLERGEN MIX-UP

By Mark Wells Nov 3, 2025 | 11:57 AM

Teasdale Foods has issued a nationwide recall of its taco dinner kits after receiving complaints that the seasoning packets inside some kits mistakenly contained cocoa mix.

The company says the mix-up poses a concern because the cocoa packets contain milk, which is not listed as an allergen on the taco kit label. So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.

The recalled kits were distributed to Giant, Martin’s, and Aldi stores in 27 states, including Illinois, New York, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan.

Consumers who purchased the affected taco kits are encouraged to return them to the store for a full refund.
