Families across Wayne County will have an opportunity to receive Thanksgiving Boxes this holiday season through a partnership between Fairfield Save A Lot and Feeding Kids of Wayne County. The program aims to provide families with a complete holiday meal.
Monetary donations are being accepted at Save A Lot through November 18th. Contributions may also be made by check, payable to Feeding Kids of Wayne County with “Thanksgiving” in the memo line, and mailed to 1310 East Main St., Fairfield.
Each Thanksgiving box costs about $40, and every donation helps ensure more local families can enjoy a warm and meaningful holiday meal.
Families wishing to receive a Thanksgiving Box can find more information beginning November 15th on the Feeding Kids of Wayne County Facebook page.
