Reports from Wabash County say a Mt. Carmel man has been located and is safe after he had been reported missing Thursday morning.
According to information from the WSJD website and Facebook page, and Mt. Carmel Police Chief Mike McWilliams, police were originally called to a residence in Mt. Carmel Thursday morning regarding a welfare check, and later learned that 42 year old Adam Shular had left the residence earlier Thursday morning. A family member of Shular requested police attempt to locate him after becoming concerned for his well being following a family dispute.
Police Chief McWilliams reported Friday that Adam Shular was located safe in the Dogpatch area of Gibson County, Indiana at around 9:45 a.m. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment by Gibson County EMS.
Mt. Carmel police expressed their thanks to assisting agencies and the public for their help in leading to the location of Shular.
