Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 48-year-old Michael A. Vaughan of Fairfield late Tuesday night on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
Around 11:00 p.m., deputies spotted a vehicle parked at a Fairfield business and identified Vaughan as he exited. Knowing he had an active warrant, deputies approached, but Vaughan fled on foot before being quickly apprehended.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail, booked, and later released on a personal recognizance bond. Vaughan was issued a notice to appear in Wayne County Circuit Court.
