CISNE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS NAMED ILLINOIS STATE SCHOLARS

By Mark Wells Nov 14, 2025 | 11:55 AM

Three students from Cisne High School—Kadence Hyder, Hagen Howard, and Ava Greifzu—have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). This prestigious recognition honors high school seniors across the state for superior academic achievement.

The Illinois State Scholar program identifies approximately the top ten percent of high school seniors statewide. Honorees are selected based on a combination of ACT test scores and class rank at the conclusion of their junior year. The program serves to highlight and reward students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance throughout their high school careers.

Cisne High School is proud to celebrate the achievements of these students whose dedication and hard work have earned them this distinguished honor.
