Several cases were heard Thursday in Wayne County Circuit Court before Judge Matt Vaughn.
45-year-old Sean Dawkins of Clay City pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was sentenced to 12 months of Conditional Discharge, ordered to pay court costs, and received credit for two days served in the Wayne County Jail.
Under the plea agreement, four counts and two cases were dismissed. A review hearing is set for October 13, 2026.
Flora resident, 24-year-old Jeremiah Sharp pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of Nitrous Oxide, a Class A misdemeanor.
He received one year of Conditional Discharge, must pay court costs, and had one additional case dismissed per the agreement.
A review hearing is also set for October 13, 2026.
28-year-old Russell Tyler of Fairfield had his probation revoked Thursday.
Judge Vaughn sentenced him to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a previous Aggravated Assault charge from May 2024.
He was ordered to pay court costs.
