Reports out of White County say three people were served federal arrest warrants from the Carmi Police Department, along with the White County Sheriff’s authorities and the Norris City Police Department they obtained while working drug cases in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Those served with the warrants were 36 year old Charles Abner of Indiana, 34 year old Joshua Hall of Carmi and 66 year old Joseph Weccele, whose address was not listed. The warrants were served on Friday, November 7th. Abner was served his warrant while already in custody at the White County Jail on several drug charges. Hall and Weccele were arrested and taken to the White County Jail, and were later transferred to another location by U.S. Marshalls. The arrests were reported on Friday.
