The Albion Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Heart of the Holidays” Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 13th celebrating all of the community’s hometown heroes, including military members, veterans, police, firefighters, EMTs, and more. Organizers say they are excited to welcome residents and visitors to enjoy what Albion has to offer during the festive event.
Line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Edwards County Fairgrounds, and the parade will step off at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s parade will feature four judged categories: Best Use of Theme, Best Band, Best Live Window, and Best Overall. Each category winner will receive a $100 prize. No signup is required to participate.
The Chamber encourages everyone to attend and enjoy the holiday lights, community spirit, and the recognition of local heroes.
