The Enfield Village Board met in a brief special session Monday night to address unfinished business from last week’s regular meeting.
Trustees approved the hiring of Michael Jodon for the Utilities Department. Jodon will give his current employer two weeks’ notice but can begin work sooner if necessary.
Mayor Maurie Black reported that a sewer line on the southeast corner of the recently sold 20-acre tract behind the school will require an easement.
Christmas lights for the village have arrived, and installation will begin soon. Sidewalks have already been marked for the route, with the first light planned for installation in front of the Post Office and additional displays to follow.
