The Hamilton County Rotary Club is spreading holiday cheer with a series of featured events on Saturday, December 6th. Residents of all ages are invited to join in the festivities, which promise a day full of fun, food, and Christmas spirit.
The day kicks off with Breakfast with Santa at Fox Meadows Independent Living, where families can enjoy pancakes, sausage, and hot chocolate starting at 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and snap a cozy fireplace photo and pick out a book of their choice.
Alongside breakfast, the Christmas Market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the old high school gym, offering a variety of holiday goods and gifts.
Kids can also take part in Santa’s Workshop at the Courthouse Lobby, running from 3:30p.m. to 5 p.m. Children will receive a complimentary gift and can wrap it for free, just in time for the holiday season. The event is sponsored by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and those attending are ask to enter on the east side of the building.
The day concludes with the Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m., featuring the theme “Christmas at the Movies.” The parade will start at the south end of town and prizes will be awarded for the best floats.
