The Olney Central College Theater is set to delight audiences with its production of The Play That Goes Wrong, running tonight (Friday) through Sunday at the Dr. John D. Stull Performing Arts Center.
Hailed by the Huffington Post as “the funniest play Broadway has ever seen,” this award-winning comedy promises an evening of side-splitting theatrical chaos. The story follows the Cornley Drama Society as they attempt to stage The Murder at Haversham Manor, a 1920s whodunit where everything that can go wrong does. Expect collapsing sets, disappearing props, forgotten lines, and actors caught in outrageous mishaps—all while the cast valiantly insists that everything is under control.
Showtimes are scheduled for tonight and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $14 and are available now at iecc.edu/occ/theater or by calling 618-395-7777, ext. 2408.
Sponsored by TrustBank and rated PG, this production marks the grand finale of OCC Theater’s 50th anniversary season.
