Wayne City Matters hosts its annual Hometown Christmas Event and Parade on Sunday, December 14th. Activities will begin at 3 p.m. at or near the community building, offering holiday fun for all ages.
Visitors can enter the Cookie Bake-Off for a chance to win the title of Wayne City’s best cookie. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and receive a gift from the Wayne City Library, and families can join the FCCLA in decorating cookies. Representatives from Orchardville Church will be on hand to share the Christmas Story.

Attendees will also be able to make s’mores over an open fire, enjoy Christmas caroling, and take a horse-drawn carriage ride, sponsored by the Wayne City Ruritans and Wayne City Matters.
The celebration will conclude with the Lighted Christmas Parade at 5 p.m., featuring Parade Marshals Steve and Paula Ehrhart.
