The Edwards County Farm Bureau has announced the return of its beloved holiday tradition, “Bob’s Tree,” now in its fourteenth year.
The project honors the late Bob Mason, former Edwards County Farm Bureau manager, who was known for his love of children and his dedication to the Farm Bureau. Even after his retirement, Mason made it a tradition to bring a Christmas tree into the office each year. To continue that spirit of giving, the Farm Bureau launched “Bob’s Tree” to help those in need throughout the community.
Residents are encouraged to donate new, homemade, or gently used scarves, hats, and gloves for both children and adults. Donations will be displayed on the Christmas tree inside the Farm Bureau office and accepted through December 5th
After the collection period, all donated items will be distributed to needy children and families across Edwards County.
