William S.Cannon, Jr. of McLeansboro, IL. passed away 10:04 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025
“Billy” was born March 2, 1943 in Madison, Indiana. He was a son of William Cannon SR. and Audrey (Horton) Cannon. On April 20, 1993 he married Mary J. (Bowers) Cannon in West Palm Beach Florida and she survives.
Billy was a member of the Lick Creek Church and a self- employed Real Estate Agent. He loved Deer Hunting an also enjoyed Lapidary.
Survivors include his wife Mary, two daughters, Sandy Schnars and husband Rich, Wellington, Fl, and Linda Kivaitek of Wellington, Florida, three stepchildren, Shane and Bobbie Ping, McLeansboro, Leslie and John Irvin, Palmetto, Fl. and Janie Cooksey, Harrisburg, Il. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, a sister, Trish Williams and Husband Henry, Lake City, Fl, in laws, Bill and Barb Bowers, McLeansboro, IL. Paula Fraley, Eldorado, IL, Debbie and David White, McLeansboro, Jerry Bowers, McLeansboro, Mike Bowers, McLeansboro, Horton family, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister-in-law Linda Veatch, McLeansboro, IL.
