A public reception will be held next Wednesday, December 10th to honor the retirement of longtime Fairfield surgeon Dr. Patrick Molt. The event will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MAC Education Rooms, 213 NW 10th Street in Fairfield, and will feature hors d’oeuvres and cake.
Dr. Molt is retiring at the end of the year, concluding 26 years of dedicated service as a general surgeon at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Molt was instrumental in the hospital’s growth, leading expansions, modernizing surgical and emergency departments, and establishing rural health clinics to better serve the region.
A Fairfield native, Dr. Molt launched his medical career in New York City before returning home in 1999. Even after retirement, he will remain actively involved with Fairfield Memorial Hospital as a member and current president of the Board of Directors.
Community members and colleagues are invited to attend and celebrate Dr. Molt’s lasting impact on healthcare in Fairfield and beyond.
