AGRONOMY SUMMIT SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 22ND IN FAIRFIELD

Farmers and agricultural professionals are invited to attend the Southeastern Agronomy Summit on Thursday, January 22nd at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fairfield. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering insight into trending topics and strategies to help improve farm management and productivity in the coming season.

The summit’s agenda includes presentations on farm management, crop insurance, weather trends, and the future of agriculture. University and industry experts will lead sessions on topics such as dealing with wind and water in Illinois, tax planning for 2026, and the challenges of soil health.

Attendees can also earn Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) continuing education credits. Pre-registration is required, and those interested are encouraged to sign up by January 16th.
