WHITE CASTLE RECALLS FROZEN ORIGINAL SLIDERS DUE TO UNDECLARED ALLERGENS

By Mark Wells Dec 16, 2025 | 11:54 AM

White Castle is recalling over 1,000 cases of its frozen Original Sliders, which may have been sold nationwide, according to an announcement shared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

The White Castle Frozen Food Division has initiated the recall of 1,021 cases of its frozen 4-count cartons of Original Sliders because they may contain undeclared milk and soy allergens. The affected cartons may actually contain Jalapeno Cheese Sliders, which include ingredients not listed on the Original Sliders packaging. The recalled products were shipped to retailers between August and October 2025, and were primarily distributed to convenience stores in “potentially all 50 states,” according to White Castle Food Products LLC.

Consumers should look for packages marked with UPC# 0-82988-02969-3 and lot codes 9H203521 or 9H203522. These products will also display a “best by” date of April 18, 2026. Only products with these exact lot codes are included in the recall; any package without all eight characters of these lot codes is not affected.

The recall was initiated after a customer reported a non-life-threatening allergic reaction caused by consuming a mispacked Jalapeno Cheese Slider. No other reports of injury or illness have been received to date.
