GATEWAY REGIONAL WATER COMPANY TO SWITCH BACK TO CHLORAMINES IN WATER DISINFECTION STARTING DECEMBER 22ND

Beginning next Monday, December 22nd, Gateway Regional Water Company will switch back from a free chlorine residual to its normal chloramines residual as the primary water disinfectant.

Customers with health concerns are advised to contact their physicians with any health-related questions.

Gateway Regional Water Company serves the following communities: City of Flora, Clay County Water, Western Wayne Water Company, Village of Xenia, Village of Iuka, City of Kinmundy, Village of Alma, Village of Farina, Fayette Water Company, FMC Water Co., NEMC Water Co., Village of Patoka, Raccoon Water Co., and Village of Vernon.
