Norman Edward Winebarger, 68, of Albion, Illinois and formerly of Grayville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Ed was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1957, in Dubois, Pennsylvania, a son of Robert Dixon and Earlene (Frazier) Winebarger.
Ed honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was retired, having worked for many years as an over-the-road truck driver. Ed enjoyed playing softball, basketball and fishing. He also had a passion for helping animals, taking them in and caring for them. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Grayville and the Albion-Browns American Legion Post # 590.
Survivors include, his daughter and her husband, Hannah (Winebarger) and John DeGraw of Blairstown, NJ; a granddaughter, Kynzi DeGraw of Blairstown, NJ; a brother Marvin (Fawnda) Winebarger of Grayville, IL; and four nephews Zac, Nic, Marshall and Heath Winebarger.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents an a son Jonathan Winebarger.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
