Brenda K. Witter, 69, of Fairfield, IL, passed away at 3:21pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Brenda was born on February 6, 1956, in Fairfield, to R. Roland “Slim” and Lois (Tondini) Matthews. She married Robert “Bob” Witter who preceded her in death in 1995. After her husband passed away, she met her life partner, Randy Henson, who loved and cared for her for 30 years.
Over the years, Brenda had helped her father while he worked for Pepsi Cola, worked at John’s Red and White, and most recently, had been a caregiver. She was also very proud of her Italian heritage.
Survivors include her life partner Randy Henson of Fairfield, her son Bobby (Tia) Witter of Evansville, IN, five grandchildren Janessa Witter, Nic (Jenna) Allison, Zack (Whitney) Allison, and Joey Allison, five great grandchildren, her sisters Deborah (Loren Lee) Dunn and Susan (Terry) Austin both of Fairfield, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bob Witter.
Due to inclement weather conditions on Monday, Dec 29th, the graveside service for Brenda Witter has been moved to the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home chapel. Services will still be held at 2pm. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the Wayne County Humane Society and can be given at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
