Reports out of Jefferson County say a Centralia, IL man was arrested two days in a row in separate burglary cases.

38 year old Mitchell Finley was first arrested early Friday on charges of burglary and criminal damage to property for damaging the Kaskaskia Workshop in the Centralia Industrial Park.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail and was scheduled for a court appearance Friday.

On Christmas morning, Marion County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested Finley after he was found inside the Crossroad Church on Walnut Hill Road southeast of Centralia, following a burglar alarm.  Deputies reported entry had been made by breaking a window to a door.  Finley was allegedly found inside the church preparing food.  Following that incident, Finley was taken to the Marion County Jail and later released on a notice to appear in court on charges of criminal damage and criminal trespass to a building.
